When our Daddy went to Belgium to cousin Wade's Baptism he brought us home wooden shoes. He said that we could paint them however we wanted to. We are so excited that we are finally getting to do this now. We kept forgetting! We are getting to choose our own colors and designs. Here are some pictures of us painting the base coat. When we finish we will post more pictures.

On Friday the girls didn't have school. It was nice to have a 3 day weekend. While I was fixing pancakes, Jared and the girls were washing the trucks. It was fun listening to them laugh and giggle and talk with their Daddy. Oh, what a wonderful morning!

She is HOME!

Breanna is home, and all in one piece. I was at the school 10 minutes early. But they were about 40 minutes late. She had a wonderful time. I wish that I could have sent the camera with her. But I only have 1 camera and didn't want anything to happen to it.

I am a Mom!

I can't believe that I keep having these feelings. I totally thought that this would be easier. Jared and I have been to Las Vegas, and left the girls with family. I have been to girls camp. Breanna has sleepovers with friends. She goes to school from 7:30am to 3:00pm. I have sent her on field trips before. I get time away from her. But this is her very first BIG field trip. Jim Juhl picked her up for school this morning at 5:00am and I go and pick her and Mason up at 6:00pm this evening. Their field trip consisted of going to the Colossal Caves and Kartchner Caverns, both of which are a couple of hours from here (give or take). Copperwood rented a tour bus and took the whole 5th grade. I have had butterflies in my stomach since she left. Is this normal? I know that the school will take good care of her, and they do this every year, and they have parent chaperone's (3 students to 1 parent). But I am still a mom. Let you know when she gets home.

Pig Roast!

This is Grandma Lee with Breanna and Jodi!
Of course they took this one by themselves. Candace and Amber!
The beautiful handmade quilt that Jared bought from the live auction that the youth had. It looks beautiful on my Navy Blue couch.
The pig before the pig roast. The girls got to go and feed it leftovers and table scraps several times while it was at the Cathcart's home.
And of course after. She tasted very good. Thanks to Carolyn's blog I was able to get these pics of the pig. The fundraiser was very successful and fun. It was fun to go and sit and visit with all of our friends.

Big Ben!

Ok so here it is! I hope that this works! Video of Big Ben ringing! You can pause the music so that you can hear Big Ben!

Flu Flu go away!

I just love it when we start getting sick around here. It never comes when you have nothing to do. We have had a very busy week and weekend, and Breanna was sick, I have been sick, and now Jodi is sick, and she threw up at a friends house. Why me? I am hoping that we will all be better by tomorrow night at 5pm. It is our wards pig roast. The girls love this party. It is our annual fund raiser for the YM and YW. I will get pics of this and post tomorrow night. Here is a picture of Jodi sick on the couch. Don't you just love her shirt? She isn't even in school yet!

I know that this was a while ago but wanted to share some of the pics of Belgium and Enland that Jared took when he was there for Wade's Baptism. Jared his Dad and friend John went. They had a wonderful time. We have over 1000 pics, wish that we could post them all here. This is a statue of a little boy in Brussels Belgium. The people there hold him in high regards. They say that he either stood up to a General by peeing on his boot, or he put out the fire of Brussels by peeing on it. Either way it was one of Jared's favorite statues. Why because the statue is peeing. Stone Henge! One of the Castles that they went to. I remember these Lions from when I was little when I lived with my family in England. I'm going to try to post a video of Big Ben ringing, and the changing of the guards at Bucingham Palace. But can't seem to get it to work right. I will post it later when I figure it out.

Our surogate son!

As all of you know, we don't have boys, but we do have Dylan. He is a little boy that I watch Mondays thru Thursdays. He is so funny and adorable. We love having him around and we are also enjoying his boyness, but love sending him home with his mom everynight. The girls wanted me to put him on our blog. So here is a pic of Dylan on Jared's bike, when Jared comes home in the morning from work Dylan always points to the bike and says "ride". Don't you just love his bright red hair? It always sticks straight up. We sure do love having him around.

OK, so I was taking Breanna and Amber to their activity days today, and on our way back from dropping them off Jodi asked me when she was going to have her first driving lesson. Keep in mind she is only 5 and hasn't even started Kindergarten yet. I asked her why she needed to drive and she told me that she was a big girl now, and that it was time. I then told her that she had a very long wait. But when we were driving to the Stake Center to take Jared his cell phone she told me that if she knew how to drive that she could have done this for me. Jared as most of you know is the Stake Athletic Directer, and this is his favorite time of year. It is the Multi-Stake Basketball tournaments. It just amazes me how one minute these men are best friends then the next they are enemy's. This is a picture of Jared either getting ready to referee a game or just getting done. Can't remember which one.

We had a wonderful day today watching conference. The girls were really enjoying their conference packets, and the 2 older ones had tears in there eyes when they were sustaining our new Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. It was a wonderful experience for them. President Hinkley was the only prophet they have ever known. When Jared went to priesthood tonight, the girls and I went to Grandma Lee's and watched Enchanted with her. She enjoyed having the girls share their movie with her, even if Amber was reciting every line in the movie before it happened. I am so looking forward to tomorrow, I don't have to get ready for church I can just stay in my pj's. I haven't been feeling well. I just love allergies. When Eddie and his family were here visiting we went to visit Grandma Millie, that's when I was able to snap this picture of her with Jared and the girls. They just love and adore Grandma Millie. The girls especially love getting her gifts, they say that it is because they smell like Grandma. Jodi continues to make us laugh. Friday her and Jared were outside cutting up firewood (I know sounds funny, but it gets cold when we go camping)and it is starting to get warm here, she walks inside and asked me if I could put her in the freezer so she could cool down. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family.
