Where do I begin?

We have had a fun and wonderful week. We left last Friday and headed to Show Low, AZ to visit our friends Jared and Lisa Hall. We got there Friday afternoon/evening sometime. We had dinner and visited, and of course the children had fun playing. On Saturday we woke up and Jared and Jared went to go and help a sister move in their ward. We then went horseback riding. Jared H. owns a horse, and his 2 brothers who live in Show Low own several also. So we went and the children helped to brush the horses so that they could saddle them up, and load them into the horse trailer. After we got them loaded we headed to the Hunters property up there in Pinedale. They have a cabin that backs into national forest so it is easy to go horseback riding from there. The girls really enjoyed it, and Jared L. did also, and of course the Halls did. Now me on the other hand, I wasn't to sure about it. When I was 12 or 13 years old and at girls camp, I got bucked off of a horse not once but twice. I haven't been to sure about horses since then. Jared H. took 2 different groups on a nice long trail ride. It was allot of fun! Thanks Halls!Jared riding Diamond!Breanna riding Cowboy!Amber riding Max!Candace riding Cowboy!Jodi riding Max!

and last but not least,Yes, I did get on a horse, it was Cowboy. It took me about 1 hour to get up the courage to finally decide to get on, and then about 5 minutes standing beside the horse to get on. I decided to get on the horse so that I could show my girls that I was ok, and that I wasn't afraid of horses any more. But the one thing that they couldn't hear was my heart about to jump out of my chest. But I did it, I got on and road around for about 5 minutes, and then I was DONE.

That night we then went to the annual dinner that the stake that the Halls live in put on for Pioneer Day. The dinner was delicious. When we pulled up the weather turned into a torrential down pour. But we stayed and ate dinner, and the children got to run and play. While we were in line for food, as we got towards where they were serving food we looked up and saw a very dear friend of ours serving food. Shawn Bryant, he lives here in the valley. I guess that his dad lives in the stake and he came up to help him with cooking and serving the food. We truly had a wonderful weekend. Thanks again to the Halls!
